Dr. Toshihiro Kuge, who belongs to Gunma Prefectural Fisheries Experimental Station, was dispatched to the Project by JICA as a short-term expert from 6th to 20th January 2013. His main task was to give advice and guidance to concerned organizations on the improvement and maintenance of the aquaculture facilities which had been renovated recently by the Project. Dr. Kuge has conducted observatory survey on 5 aquaculture stations located in 5 different districts of 4 target provinces. As a result, he has made necessary recommendations for future improvement and renovation of some facilities that will hopefully done by those concerned organizations.
