The 2nd JCC meeting was held on June 10 at her conference room of Building A, Dept. of Electronics, FE.

After the opening speeches of Dr.Boualinh, dean of FE and Mr.Yoneyama, Senior Representative of JICA Laos, following presentations were made:

1. Outline of ITSD project
2. IT Specialist Course
   • Status
   • Student selection method
   • Feedback of Curriculum Board Meeting
   • Schedule towards the opening of ITSC
3. The activities of ITBU
4. Outcome of the local IT market survey
5. Future prospect

IT related governmental organizations expressed their high interest in the course. For example, the representative of National Authority of Post and Telecommunication(NAPT)said he would send some of his staff to the course.

It was commonly recognized that the cooperative approach among concerning organizations was necessary for the benefit of all the stakeholders through ITSC.
