Scene of the 1st Study Session

On August 31, the 1st Study Session of this year was held at Settha Palace Hotel. The topic of this year is "IT Out Sourcing Market in Laos". Having a common view of that the great majority of software development in Laos are undertaken by oversea companies, the participants shared their views on the trend of neighboring countries such as India, Vietnam and Thailand, and on the current situation inside Laos.

The activity of Digital Divide Data in Vientiane was presented, and the experience of a local software developer was introduced as well.

Lao ICT Commerce Association (LICA) conducts this Study Session and the research work under a local consultant contract.
