Mr.Kogure in the seminar of IT Festa

The technology transfer on LAMP and Server Administration (Feb.14~Mar. 16) was conducted by Mr.Yoichi Kogure. The main topics include:

• performance check and improvement of the network of IT Building
• monitoring and advising on the ongoing workshop in ITSC
• support the fieldwork
• evaluate the classes done in ITSC including questionnaire survey to students

Concerning the fieldworks on the network infrastructure, Mr,Kogure and assigned students visited the partner entities listed below to study present state of their system and to finalize the requirement definitions

• Oji Lao Plantation Co., Ltd
• Assurances Générales du Laos (AGL)
• Lao Air Company
• Faculty of Engineering, NUOL

The questionnaire survey to ITSC students told us that, regarding the quality of the classes and their understanding level, the students of networking course marks higher than those of software engineering course.

In addition to above mentioned activities, Mr.Kogure gave lectures on Internet Security and Malware on March 11and on Science of Computer Graphics on March 12 in the IT Festa.
