Mr.Ishikawa in the seminar of IT Festa

The technology transfer on Database Administration and JAVA programming (Feb.16~Mar. 16) was conducted by Mr.Yasumitsu Ishikawa. The main topics include:

• training on JAVA programming
• intensive training for Oracle 10g OCA examination
• support the fieldwork
• evaluate the classes done in ITSC including questionnaire survey to students

Eight participated the JAVA programming training. They were three lecturers in software engineering course of ITSC, three selected students of ITSC and two from private sectors.

Mr.Sithiphone, Mr.Phouthavong and Mr.Sisouphan received the OCA test preparation training. Dr.Khampheth, Mr.Khanthanou, Dr.Vimontha, Mr.Senglathsamy and Mr.Bounma received the SQL test preparation training.

Concerning the fieldworks on the software engineering, Mr.Ishikawa and assigned students visited the partner entities listed below to study present state of their system and to finalize the requirement definitions.

• Department of Planning, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry
• Faculty of Engineering, NUOL

In addition to above mentioned activities, Mr.Ishikawa gave a lecture on I Cloud Computing on March 12 in the IT Festa.
