Mr.Sithiphone delivering the class

ITBU organized its 1st short-term training course and implemented it from November 3 to December 4.

The title of the course was “Introduction of LAMP and Web design” and the main topics include:

• Setting up LAMP environment
• Basic Algorithms
• Basic administration of Apache
• Web site structure design
• HTML and CSS techniques for Web design and others

Two lecturers of the project, Dr.Khamphet and Mr.Sithiphone delivered the lecture. Both of them have been receiving the technology transfer from JICA experts since the beginning of this project.

Participants were 12 people from:

• BCEL bank
• Vientiane-Hanoi friendship vocational school
• Rattana College
• Khamsavath College
• CK Trading
• ETL
• National Internet Project of NAST

Ten received the course certificate from Mr.Somphone Khanthavong, the head of department in the closing ceremony on Dec. 4

The course was well received by the participants.
