On 28th June 2018, the 5th MA-SHEP Technical Committee Meeting was held at the conference room of the Department of Agriculture Extension Services (DAES), Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development (MoAIWD) in Lilongwe, Malawi.

In this meeting, progress of the project in the current quarter (from April to June, 2018) and plan of the upcoming activities were reported. In addition, a proposal system for selecting the two (2) Agriculture Development Divisions (ADDs) for the 2nd Batch implementation was discussed among members of the meeting.

The remaining activities of the MA-SHEP Package for the 1st Batch target areas are the Technical Training (ToT) for extension staff and the In-field Training for farmers scheduled from July to September, 2018. The project will do our best to implement effective technical training so that extension staff can confidently teach necessary skills and techniques for farmers.
