From November 16th to December 11th 2015, training in Japan was conducted under the title of "Planning the lessons for children with disabilities in the context of special needs education". 10 participants from Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, Institute of Education, special schools, Ministry of Population Development and Social Protection, Central and Local Commission of Health, Education and Social Protection for Children with Disabilities were invited to visit Japan.
During the training, the participants attended lectures on early detection, developmental support and education for children with disabilities. They also observed National Institute of Special Needs Education, University of Tsukuba, schools for special needs education, general schools, and related institutes in Yokosuka City and Nasushiobara City.

Through the training in Japan, the participants got some concrete ideas on what they are going to work on in Mongolia.
Thanks to a great deal of hospitality shown by the lecturers and organizations welcoming the participants and people whom the participants met in Japan, the training was completed meaningfully.
The Project Team will keep supporting those participants as they utilize their learning from Japan.
