The Project invited Mongolian counterparts to Japan and conducted training in four sessions for the purpose of supplementary inputs for activities in Mongolia. The main objective of the training is that participants obtain insights from Japanese practices, as well as creating an opportunity for personnel of central government, university, medical, education, and welfare field to discuss issues which Mongolia faces and explore solutions together by observing and listening to solving the same problems in Japan.

From September 9 to 22, the 4th training was conducted under the title of "Early intervention and Inclusive Learning Environment for Children with Disabilities". In the first week of the program, the participants learned about ideas such as "International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF)" and "Reasonable Accommodation", and life of persons with disabilities in local community. The participants from welfare and medical sector attended lectures and visited fields on early identification of disabilities and early intervention, while others from education sector visited schools.
In the second week, a lecture on learning-together education in Kansai area by a person with disability and his supporters, and field visits were conducted in kindergarten and elementary school where inclusive education is implemented. The program was concluded in a lecture entitled "International Trends on Inclusive Education".

Thanks to the great hospitality shown by the lecturers and organizations welcoming the participants, the training was completed meaningfully. The Project Team will keep supporting those participants to improve early intervention and education for CWDs as they utilize their learning from Japan.
