Within the framework of "the Project for Strengthening the Government Capacity of Public Investment Plan of Mongolia (MDPI-TA)", a compendium of Mongolia's 2018-2021 and 2021-2025 Public Investment Program (PIP) has been published in collaboration with the Research and Analysis Division of the National Development Agency (NDA). It is essential to evaluate and prioritize the projects to be reflected in the PIP based on scientific grounds and evidence in order to strengthen the planning base, select the project, and secure the implementation effect. In addition to PIP-related laws and regulations, this compendium includes related guidelines and manuals such as "the PIP project formulation guidelines" and "PIP project evaluation, prioritization, selection, and monitoring guidelines" formulated as part of the project activities. Hence it can be used by NDA, MOF, and all the ministries and agencies responsible for project formation. The MDPI-TA project team continues to work towards improving and putting these guidelines and manuals to practical use.
