Project News

The Japanese experts arrived in Morocco on 14th September, 2014, and started the Project for Promoting Education with Equity and Quality (PEEQ). On 16th September, a kick-off meeting was held with the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) and directors of the related directorates at the MENFP -- the executing body of the project. In addition, the project team discussed the implementation framework of the project with the MENFP on 22nd September. Then, the team visited the target areas of the first round -- Chaouia Ourdigha and Doukala Abda, and explained about the project to each Regional Academies of Education and Training (AREF). Subsequently, the team observed primary and lower secondary schools in each area.
