Conducting 1st Joint Coordinating Committee Meeting

The 1st Joint Coordinating Committee Meeting of the Project for Capacity Development of Yezin Agricultural University (YAU) chaired by H.E. Dr. Tin Winn Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation was held at YAU on 21st June 2016. Professor TANAKA, Chief Advisor of the Project delivered presentation on "Outline of the Project", and the counterpart members of the Project in YAU introduced revised Project Design Matrix (PDM), revised Plan of Operation (PO) and Annual Plan of Operation (APO). Also they briefed the JCC members on Baseline Survey Report of YAU and Pilot Research Program of the Project.

PDM/PO revised based on the results obtained through of baseline surveys and APO were unanimously approved by the committee without any amendment.

Taking this opportunity, the JCC members and participants exchanged opinions and developed discussions with regard to the future issues YAU faces, including formulation of better management system, curriculum development, research-based university and others.
