A number of Japanese researchers visit Myanmar in summer holiday season in Japan, and some but not few of them visit YAU and provide good occasions for YAU teachers and students to widen their horizon. Taking these opportunities, the Project asked Dr. Masahiko MATSUDA, Professor, College of International Relations, Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto, Japan, who has experience of working for MOALI as JICA expert in the mid-2000s, specialized in agricultural development and rural ecology, in Myanmar to lecture the YAU Teachers and graduate students as the Lecture held on August 8th with a title of "Whither Myanmar Agriculture? A Perspective of Productivity, Stability, and Sustainability" attracted the audience, and active Q and A were exchanged after his talk.
