Training in Myanmar, "Training on Power Transmission and Distribution" for Ministry of Electricity and Energy (MOEE) Trainer Candidates were conducted for one month in March and three months from June to August 2017. Under the said training, lectures and case study were conducted based on the five themes, 1) Distribution Plan and Design, 2) Distribution Construction, 3) Distribution Operation and Maintenance, 4) Transmission and 5) Distribution Substation.

Participants	Twenty seven (27) engineers of trainer candidates from Department of Electric Power Planning (DEPP), Department of Power Transmission and System Control (DPTSC), Electricity Supply Enterprise (ESE), Yangon Electricity Supply Corporation (YESC) and Mandalay Electricity Supply corporation (MESC)
Contents	Distribution Plan and Design: Regulations for Distribution Lines, Distribution facility management etc. Distribution Construction: Safety in distribution work, Danger foreseeability, 5S Activity, etc. Distribution Operation and Maintenance: Distribution Automation System, Distribution System Protection, Grounding, etc. Transmission: Investigation and insulation design of overhead transmission lines, etc. Distribution Substation: Fault calculation, Relay setting etc. Financial Analysis: Financial Analysis of Project etc. Joint Workshop with Japanese companies

Through the above training, trainer candidates of MOEE learnt Japanese technology related to power transmission and distribution systems, and deepen the understanding on power loss reduction, power line fault, safety and so on. Moreover, they acquired the knowledge on concrete pole structure design, overhead conductor design, etc. in the Joint Workshop and learnt quality and effect of Japanese technology.
