Japanese researcher team visited Kathmandu

A team of University of Yamanashi, a main implementing body in Japan, comprising 25 members visited Kathmandu from 17 September 2015 to 23 September 2015. The members divided into 5 Working Groups (WG) and carried out the following activities in cooperation with the Nepalese counterparts.

Main activities conducted:
WG1: Field survey in Lalitpur
WG2: Water sampling in Lalitpur
WG3: Microbiological analysis of water samples
WG4: Experimental water treatment unit installation and water sampling
WG5: Preliminary house holds survey

Note:

This project has been implemented by the five WGs, namely, Water recourse assessment (WG1), Water quality assessment (WG2), Microbiological water assessment (WG3), Water treatment system development (WG4) and Socio-Economic assessment (WG5).
