Project News

The project working group leaders (WGL) meeting was held in Univ. of Yamanashi (UY) in Japan with the Japanese members and the Nepalese members. Having limited opportunities for the leaders to get together due to no Japanese long term researcher has been assigned in Nepal, this meeting was accounted very meaningful for the members to discuss the issues. In the meeting, semiannual monitoring of the project progress, Joint Coordinating Committee Meeting preparation, JICA training course candidate selection and so on were discussed. Taking advantage of this gathering, the Nepalese team observed UY's research facilities.
