Project meeting
A team of Univ. of Yamanashi, headed by Prof. F. Kazama visited Kathmandu in the period of 24 to 28 July 2015. During their visit, they held a project meeting with Nepalese working group leaders to figure out delays in the project activities caused by the earthquake. Besides, a nickname for the project, ""WaSH-Mia"", was established in the meeting.
Other than the meeting, the team implemented a training session on groundwater sampling and analysis for the students of Central Department of Geology, Tribhuvan Univ and the Laboratory setup in Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan Univ.
Ms. K. Tamura, JICA HQ Tokyo, also accompanied this mission.
