Mr. Showet Basnet has made a presentation in Univ. of Yamanashi about the result of his training course.

Mr. Showet Basnet (Nepalese counterpart of WG1) participated in the training course in Univ. of Yamanashi during the period from 29 July 2015 to 9 October 2015.

The training was focused on developing of robust ground water model that provides reliable estimates of ground water variables and preparation of Water security map. For this, he learnt about techniques of trend analysis then selected the suitable ground water model (GSFLOW). After analyzing and solving technical difficulties of setting up the model, the study of sensitive parameter for model calibration was done.
