The WG5 members of Uni. of Yamanashi stayed in Kathmandu from 9 Aug to 5 Sep. During the period, they joined an ongoing wet season questionnaire survey, discussed problems and solutions for the survey with Nepalese counterparts, and introduced a new software for data input. Furthermore, the members visited Chyasal area and Kokana area, which were candidate sites for the water treatment system of WG4, to know situations of the sites (water source and quality, population and people's wishes etc.) and collect water samples.
