International Workshop of WaSH-Mia was held at Univ. of Yamanashi on 21 Sep 2016. Prof. Shimada, the President of UY, and Prof. Kazama, Project Manager at Japanese side, welcomed the guests from Nepal ( Joint Secretary of Ministry of Water Supply and Sanitation, Executive Director of Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Management Board, Manager of Kathmandu Upatyaka Khanepani Limited, Dean of Institute of Engineering of Tribhuvan University, Director of Asian Institute of Technology and Management and five Nepalese working group leaders) and Prof. Yasuoka from JST. In the morning session, Prof. Shakya, Project Manager / WG1 leader at Nepal side, and other four working group leaders jointly presented the achievements from the last 2-year activities with the members from Japan. In the afternoon, overall discussion and technical exchange were promoted in a relaxed atmosphere.
