5 Dec 2016 - 7 Dec 2016: Dr. J. Magome and Mr. T. Deguchi of Working Group 1 conducted a preliminary survey for a topographic survey (leveling), which had been planned in February 2017, with help from Mr. T. Ishii, HAYATE Survey Corporation.

11 Dec 2016 - 11 Jan 2017: Ms. Rajani G. Shrestha and Ms. Sarmila Tandukar of Working Group 3 implemented field surveys and microbial analysis of water samples.

23 Dec 2016 - 27 Dec 2016:

1. Dr. K. Nishida and Dr. T. Nakamura with a student of Uni. Yamanashi carried out field surveys for water quality research of Working Group 2.
2. A team of Working Group 4 comprising Dr. F. Kazama, Dr. T. Toyama, Dr. T. Kamei and four students of Uni. Yamanashi worked on LCDs installed in Jwagal and Chyasal.
3. Dr. Sadhana Shrestha of Working Group 5 carried out questionnaire surveys.

1 Jan 2017 - 11 Jan 2017: Mr. Bikash Malla visited Kathmandu and joined Working Group 3's activities mentioned above.

24 Jan 2017 - 29 Jan 2017: Dr. T. Kamei performed preparation for installing a new LCD at Chyasal. Dr. F. Kazama also joined him from 25 Jan.

11 Feb 2017 - 18 Feb 2017: Working Group 5's Mr. Khadga B. Shrestha implemented a series of field surveys in Chyasal and Chapacho areas.
