Short term experts of Working Group 4 and 5
Dr. Futaba Kazama and Dr. Tatsuru Kamei, members of Working Group 4 (Water treatment system development) and Dr. Junko Shindo and Dr. Yoko Aihara, members of Working Group 5 (Socio-Economic assessment) carried out activities in Kathmandu in the period of 8 -12 Aug. 2017 and 11 - 14 Aug. 2017 respectively.
Main task of WG4 was installation and modification of LCDs (Locally-fitted, compact and distributed water treatment system), while WG5's activity focused on preparation of surveys on LCD water users. Further, the two WGs jointly held a meeting with the communities, who are LCD users, and explained future plan about LCD water operation and the survey.
