Water sample collection from households (Working Group 3)
Ms. Sarmila T. and Ms. Rajani G. S. (Graduate students of Uni. of Yamanashi) carried out a survey in Kathmandu valley from 26 Aug to 24 Sep. Through the survey they collected water samples and gathered information by questionnaires at households in which children suffered from diarrhea. This survey is a part of Working Group 3's activities that will help to evaluate microbiological quality of water that has been used for drinking purpose in Kathmandu valley.
