On 16 Dec, a meeting was held in Chyasal in order to explain to 130 households, who participated in a socio-economic survey, how to use the treated water and method of the survey. Each of the household was provided with a 20 liter water container. Following this meeting, the water distribution to the households in Chyasal began on 20 Dec. Main component of the LCD (Locally-fitted, compact and distributed water treatment system) water treatment system of Chyasal is a Dropping Nitrification Reactor that treats ground water into potable water. The socio-economic survey will be carried out in 6 months to reveal the impact on the households of the drinking water supply.
