A explanatory gathering about a LCD operation was held for boarders of the IOE's girls hostel on 27 December. And next day, the LCD installed at the hostel began supplying treated water for showers of it. This LCD, which consists of a sand filter, a dropping nitrification reactor and an activated carbon filter, supply clear and less odor water by lowering turbidity, ammonium content of deep ground water. Impact on the LCD installation will be assessed by a social economic survey to be done on about 50 boarders in the hostel.
