Microbiological survey by Working Group 3
Ms. Rajani G Shrestha and Ms. Sarmila Tandukar, who are students of a doctoral program in Uni. of Yamanashi, visited Kathmandu from 8 April to 4 May in order to conduct a microbiological survey on hospital wastewater and wastewater treatment plants in Kathmandu Valley. They collected wastewater samples and did processing for bacteria, protozoa, and viruses.
During their stay, they also attended an international conference. See Project news of 13 April 2018.
