Installation of a Locally fitted Compact and Distributed water treatment system at Lokanthali
From Uni. of Yamanashi, two members of Working Group 4 have been dispatched for installation of a LCD in KUKL water treatment plant at Lokanthali. This LCD consists of two main components, namely the Dropping Nitrification Reactor system and the Hydrogenotrophic denitrification system. This time, the work has been carried out mainly for assembling the Dropping Nitrification Reactor system while the work for the rest of the system has been scheduled in this August onward.
The installation at Lokanthali has been done with Nepalese counterparts in order to transfer the LCD technology to related organizations for application of the technology in future.
