From University of Yamanashi, Prof. F. Kazama (7 -14 Dec 2018) and Dr. T. Kamei (7 - 17 Dec 2018) came to Kathmandu.

Main tasks they have performed are as follows.

• Finetuning and modification of LCDs (Locally fitted compact and distributed water treatment system) in Jwagal, Chapacho and Lokanthali.
• Commencement of supply of treated water in Jwagal.
• Planning of application of sponge iron removal system to general household.

Moreover, they paid courtesy calls on the Japanese Ambassador to Nepal, JICA Nepal Chief Representative and Joint Secretary of Min. of Water Supply, who took up their new posts recently.
