Dr. Tatsuru Kamei of Uni. of Yamanashi visited Kathmandu (13/2 - 2/3/2019) and performed the following activities.

• Modification of LCD (Locally fitted compact and distributed water treatment system) of Lokanthali aiming at improving iron removal performance.
• Major maintenance for the other LCDs, such as washing out activated carbon reactors.
• Installation of a LCD (sponge iron removal system) at a household, which was planned last December, as a trial of LCD application to general household.
