In accordance with the Terminal Evaluation's recommendations, the Record of Discussion (R/D) was amended between JICA and Ministry of Water Supply.

The amendment made was to create an Overall Goal on the Project's Project Design Matrix (PDM).

Overall Goal: Tools and technologies for water security developed by the Project ("Kathmandu Model") are exercised. ("Kathmandu Model": A combination of a water treatment system with water security maps and guidelines for its introduction.)
