The 1st Technical Working Group (TWG) Meeting of the Project was held at Department of Health (DOH) in Manila on May 21, 2018. The meeting was attended by 28 members including DOH officials, a private service provider, JICA experts, Japanese researchers, and representatives of JICA and Embassy of Japan.

The meeting aimed at building common understanding of IntERlaPP project framework and planned activities between April 2018 and March 2019 among TWG members. After a series of presentations, the participants discussed concrete steps to establish a new relapse prevention program, particularly how to integrate the new program into the existing Therapeutic Community (TC) based model at Treatment and Rehabilitation Centers (TRCs). They also discussed operational matters involved in the project implementation, including selection of pilot TRCs.
