The project report in November is about the workshops for revising the EQUITV resource materials. In EQUITV Phase 1, the project developed the resource materials in mathematics and science for grade 6th and 7th. These resource materials are made to correspond to the content of TV programs and intended to take a function same as a textbook in a classroom. In 2013 all TV programs will be newly recorded and accordingly the resource materials should be revised.

Two JICA experts respectively conducted the workshops and discussed with their counterparts, media curriculum officers, how they enable to complete the revise of resource materials in time. From now onward, based on the yearly plan, they will start working on the revise of EQUITV resource materials. Thus in workshops, JICA experts introduced the good model of textbook developed in Japan that is devised for drawing the attention and better understanding of students. As compared to their own resource materials, the media curriculum officers became aware of what were missing and how they should be improved.
