On 21st October, the project team visited the Department of Social Development (DSD), the Vhembe district office and met the DSD district director, Ms. Lalumbe.

It was the second time for the project team to meet her and she understood the importance of the project and she has been very supportive for the project.

In the meeting, the project team reported the project progress and requested her to make an opening remark in the disability mainstreaming training which is scheduled in November. She also promised to arrange the project office space in Vhembe district. It is expected that the establishment of the project office in the site will be able to reinforce more hands on, practical and needs-conscious project activities.
