On 28th March 2017, the Budget Speech 2017/18 of Limpopo province where the project site is located was held. The Budget Speech is the important opportunity for the government to explain the budget and what it will be spent for to the public.

The project team was invited to it by Ms. Joyce Mashamba, the Member of Executive Committee (MEC) of DSD Limpopo province. In the speech, MEC introduced the Project and project activities such as the training in Japan which Mr. Judas Mayevu participated in (refer to the project news on 16th February 2017) and the Independent Living Programme which Mr. Judas Mayevu and Ms. Victoria Japane participated in (refer to the project news on 20th & 21st February 2017) and thanked JICA's unsurpassed support.
