The project team met the Deputy Minister of DSD, the High Commissioner of the Republic of Botswana and the Chief Representative of the JICA South Africa office to discuss project activities in the neighbouring countries!

H.E. Hendrietta Bogopane-Zulu, the Deputy Minister of the Department of Social Development (DSD) organised meeting with Mr Zenene Sinombe, the High Commissioner of the Republic of Botswana and Mr Tomohiro Seki, Chief Representative of the JICA South Africa office, and Mr Ren Kamioka, JICA expert briefed the project outline.

The project plans to share the lessons-learnt from the project with the neighbouring countries in the future. It was agreed that the Deputy Minister of DSD and the project team will visit Botswana in March 2018 (Plan) to meet the stakeholders in Botswana such as government officials of the ministry which is responsible for disability issue, representatives of Disabled People's Organisations (DPOs), etc., and the High Commissioner of the Republic of Botswana promised to support the visitation.
