Participants discussed on the action plan

Persons with disabilities in Collins Chabane municipality, Vhembe district, Limpopo province, officials of the Department of Social Development (DSD), municipal councilor, etc. in total 15 stakeholders gathered and developed an action plan to expand SHG of persons with disabilities and peer counselling.

This action plan was the detailed version of the action plan which was developed during the training in Okinawa, Japan in December last year, for example, it clarified when and who will visit each village out of 18 villages to explain the project outline to community stakeholders, when and who will coordinate and conduct peer counselling, etc.

The project will monitor and follow up the action plan and expand activities on empowerment of persons with disabilities.
