Director of the 1st Health District Office presenting his report

The first Joint Project Technical Committee (PTC) met at the Training Room of the 1st Health District Office in Aleppo city. The Japanese expert team presented the project implementation plan. In the following discussion, participants from Idlib and Al Bab district of Aleppo expressed their expectations on the project, and a participant from Manbej district of Aleppo proposed ways to make use of the experience of Phase 1.

The director of the 1st Health District Office, which is reputed as the most advanced district in Aleppo city, presented the progress made to achieve the targets of 2009, and targets for 2010 using Power Point. This stimulated participants from three other districts, and it was decided that the Health Offices in the three districts would present their performance reports for 2009 and annual work plans at the upcoming Orientation Workshop.
