From May 30 to July 15, 2010

PhotoParticipants of the training at the governorate level

The project is supporting the training to improve quality of Reproductive Health (RH) services provided at Health Centers (HCs). The project adopts "the cascade method (three levels)" as the system of providing trainings at governorate, district and HC levels in order to create the sustainable human resource development system for quality RH service provision even after the project completion. The project supported trainings at the governorate and the district level this time. In the governorate level training, midwife supervisors and other district supervisors as trainees acquired up-to-date skills and knowledge of RH services. In the district level training, those who received the governorate level trainings became trainers and transferred the gained skills and knowledge to midwives who were providing RH services at HCs. After this training, the project will support the midwife supervisors in strengthening their supervision and coaching activities in order to maximize training outcomes.
