Scene of the PSC meeting

The Second Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting was held in August 4 in Omayad Hotel, Damascus. Counterparts of the project attended the committee from the Ministry of Health (MOH) , Syria and two target governorates of the project. Representatives of reproductive health related organizations also joined as observers. The meeting began with opening remarks by the Director of Health Care Directorate of MOH, the Chief Representative of JICA Syria Office and the Director of Department of Health of Idlib Governorate. Then, heads of reproductive health section of Aleppo and Idlib governorates explained the progress of the project's first year and results of KAP survey (knowledge, attitude and practice survey). As a closing, participants expressed their good wishes for the project's second year which will be implemented in accordance with different characteristics in each district based on the KAP survey results.
