6) Counterpart Agency:

• State Unitary Enterprise "Tajik Air Navigation".

7) Project Objective:

To enhance capacity of Tajik Air Navigation (TAN) and Air Traffic Services (ATS).

8) Project Scope / Activities:

• To conduct training of ATC officers on aerodrome, approach and area control services;
• To conduct instructor training for simulator trainers;
• To develop ATC contingency plan;
• To improve Safety Management System (SMS);
• To conduct basic training on AIS, aeronautical charts, flight procedure design and others; basic training on AIS, aeronautical charts, flight procedure design and others;

9) Expected Results:

• The capacity of training for Air Traffic Control (ATC) officers in line with ICAO standards is enhanced;
• The capacity of ATC officers with regard to ICAO recommendations is enhanced;
• The capacity of Aeronautical Information Services (AIS) officers with regard to ICAO recommendations is enhanced;
