Dr. Nuwong Chollacoop, Head of Renewable Energy Laboratory of National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC) as well as a research leader of our project, was awarded "Best Paper Award" for the project of "Detoxification of Jatropha Residue via Methanol Extraction" from "International Conference on Interdisciplinary Research and Development in ASEAN Universities (ICIRD 2013).

ICIRD, which is organized by Mae Jo University (Thailand) and University of Interdiscipilinary Studies (USA), was held on August 8-10, 2013 at Chiang Mai. 9 Best Paper Award were selected from 179 papers.

The paper "Detoxification of Jatropha Residue via Methanol Extraction" is written based on results of the research carried out under our project "Innovation on Production and Automobile Utilization of Biofuels from Non-Food Biomass".
