Automotive Summit 2014 under the concept "Green Mobility Changing the World" was held at BITEC, Bangkok Thailand on June 19-20.

This annual summit is a gathering of specialists, engineers, and industry leaders that offers visions, best practices, and experiences of the government and private sectors.

This year the summit focused on green and safe vehicles in compliance with international standards.

At "Alternative Transport Fuels & Bio fuels" technical session, Dr. Yuji Yoshimura, our project research director, gave a presentation on partial hydrogenation technology for upgrading conventional FAME (Fatty Acid Methyl Ester: Bio diesel fuel) and its hydrogenated products "H-FAME" .

The H-FAME production technology was developed by our project.

Jatropha H-FAME ensures its quality by meeting with the World Wide Fuel Charter (WWFC) guideline quality and also by 50,000km on-road durability testing.

H-FAME technology can be applied to the current Palm FAME used in Thailand, and will contribute to the realization of higher FAME blending as well as to promote a low carbon society.
