On September 25, 2013, Dr. Chayawee Wangcharoenrung from PCD and two JICA experts, Mr. Munehiro Fukuda and Mr. Kazuhisa Tezuka, visited Rayong Occupational Health and Environmental Development Center (ROHEDC) in Map Ta Phut. ROHEDC, headed by Dr. Nalinee Sripaung, is under Ministry of Public Health and plays a key role in public health issues at Map Ta Phut. Dr. Nalinee has actively participated in the PRTR project and served as a task force member in both risk communication training in 2011 and risk communication promotion activities in 2013.

The aim of the meeting was possible collaboration in follow-up training of risk communication facilitators, using the PRTR pilot data. Such training will provide better understanding for trainees and thus ensure better performance of PRTR risk communication. ROHEDC fully agreed on the collaboration of follow-up training in 2014.
