During February to June 2014, more than 30 factories in the chemical, refinery, and automotive industrial categories, including major industrial groups such as PTT, SCG, and IRPC, requested support (on-site coaching) on emission estimation methodologies from Mr. Makoto Takahashi, JICA expert, and the project counterparts from DIW and IEAT. The activities also gave an opportunity for on-the-job-training (OJT) for the project counterparts.

The factories supported are as follows: Indorama Petrochem, PTT Tank Terminal, PTT GC Group (Refinery), Suzuki Motor, Kawasaki Motor Enterprise, Nitrate Thai, GM Motor, CCI Automotive, Map Ta Phut Tank, Aisin Chemical, Sanyo Kasei, EOC Polymers, Chuo Thai Cable, Sumitomo Electric Wiring, Zeon Chemical, Tokai Rika, IRPC, Thai Kansai Paint, PTT GC 11, Thai Tank, HMC Polymer and PDH plant, Thai Di No Gen, Nippon Paint, Siam Goshi, BST Group, Kansai Resin, SMR Automotive, Indorama Polyester, BAFS Chemcat.

At the end of May 2014, a total of 101 factories have already reported PRTR data.
