The 2nd Toxicology in Occupational Health and Environmental Community Academic Conference and Workshop were organized at Miracle Grand Bangkok on June 16-17, 2014, with over 125 participants from various sectors. The event was led by Dr. Nalinee Sripuang, Director of Rayong Occupational Health and Environmental Development Center (ROHED Center), who is also a key member of the PRTR risk communication task force. Ms. Cattaleeya Silarat, Director of Environmental Department of IEAT also attended this seminar.

On this occasion, Mr. Munihero FUKUDA, JICA expert team leader of the PRTR project, was invited by ROHED center to give a presentation of the development of the PRTR system in Thailand and also to explain how the PRTR system contributed to chemical toxicology management in risk areas, with a case study in Rayong province which is the pilot area of the PRTR system in Thailand.
