The JICA Expert Team and Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) jointly organized a PRTR data validation training workshop for IEAT staff on August 15, 2014 at IEAT head office. The main purpose was to increase the staff's knowledge and to prepare for data validation after receiving PRTR reports from the factory side.

The lecture was supported by JICA experts, Mr. Makoto TAKAHASHI and Mr. Shinya HASHIMOTO. 12 participants were selected, representing each industrial estate Rayong province and IEAT head office. The workshop contents included:

1. The basic concept of PRTR data validation
2. Example and data validation steps
3. The next step after data validation or data compilation
