Part of the PRTR risk communication campaign with the general public was started with a series of 5 awareness raising seminars. Various targeted groups of local people were invited such as community leaders, health volunteers, and other general people from local areas. The seminar was organized during August – September, 2014 as follows:

1st seminar was organized on August 13, 2014 for community health service volunteers. About 350 people participated.

2nd seminar was organized on August 28, 2014 at MTP industrial estate office for community leaders who are concerned with green industry. About 120 people participated.

3rd seminar was organized on August 29, 2014 at MTP industrial estate office for teacher groups around MTP area.

4th seminar was organized on September 11, 2014 at Pleukdang municipality office for community leaders. About140 people participated.

5th seminar was organized on September 12, 2014 at IRPC community center. 100 people around the IRPC area participated.

A questionnaire survey revealed a high level of interest in PRTR and its data disclosure/risk communication.
