Progress Report No.7, prepared by a JICA expert team, summarizes the progress of the PRTR project during March –September 2014. The report shows updates of activities in promoting the implementation of the PRTR system in Thailand.

The main activities include industry source meeting on the PRTR reporting system under the Environmental Monitoring and Control Centre (EMCC; IEAT), estimation training workshops for 5 specific industrial categories (Wood, Metal, Electrical Machinery, Plastic, and Rubber industries), PRTR seminar with TPMA members, PRTR awareness raising seminars for general public. At the same time, the JICA expert team was conducting PRTR point source report validation and preparation of data disclosure and risk communication step.
