A meeting was held between a JICA expert team and researchers of the Environmental Research and Training Center (ERTC), Department of Environmental Quality Promotion on January 30, 2015, in order to discuss possible participation of ERTC researchers in the PRTR Project as chemical advisers in future risk communication meetings.

Chemical advisers are expected to provide expert opinions on chemical toxicity during such meetings. Dr. Hathairatana Garivait, Director of Air Research and Development sub-division, Dr. Wanna Laowagul, and Dr. Daisy Morunoy agreed to register as chemical advisers. The Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University, is going to set up a registration system for chemical advisers.
