Following the 4th PRTR seminar in Bangkok, the 5th PRTR seminar was organized on June 25, 2015, at Golden City Hotel in Rayong, by the Pollution Control Department (PCD) ), in collaboration with the Department of Industrial Works (DIW) and the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT). Ms. Lukkana Meankamnird, Director of the Office of Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate, Mr. Surapol Suttajinda, Director of Rayong Provincial Industrial Office, and Mr. Arthit Laieddee, Director of Rayong Provincial Office of National Resources and Environment, jointly delivered the opening remarks. More than 120 key stakeholders of the PRTR pilot project in Rayong participated in this event from government agencies, the private sector, academic institutions, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), the local residents, the JICA expert team, and mass-media.
